It is truly remarkable the vast number of intercessors that the Lord Jesus is raising up in this late hour of human history. There are a few characteristics that set these intercessors apart from the general crowd of "church as usual."
True God-called intercessors generally do not need a call from the pulpit to pray; they have already heard that call from the Holy Spirit because of their close intimate relationship to God. So, long before the pastor begs, implores, or asks for the "saints" to intercede, they have "been there, done that." God-called intercessors are highly motivated to go the secret place where the Father is in secret (He is already there and waiting) and who sees in secret and rewards openly.
No one has to tell you that a certain individual is an intercessor; it is glaringly apparent to you if you have any interaction with that person.
God-called intercessors not only are highly motivated but they love to pray and see the results of their intercessions. More often than not, their intercession is focused on current key issues at the time. These intercessors often are praying about kingdom issues instead the minutia that bogs most of the church down into the small stuff of life. You will hear them crying out for the nations---not more stuff for them.
They possess a strong discernment and often know things they could have only learned from God by sensitive listening to the Spirit. How did this happen? These intercessors are willing to spend much time alone with the Father behind closed doors.

WORLD NEEDS
Jakarta, Indonesia -- Massive landslides killed five people and buried 50 homes Tuesday in West Java as torrential rains drenched the area, rescue officials said. Rescue workers were trying tofind 70 people who were missing, said Priyadi Kardono, spokesman for the National Disaster Management Agency.
The landslides occurred in the area of Ciwidey in the province of West Java, Kardono said. About 300 people and rescue dogs have been sent to the area, which is about 90 miles southeast of Indonesia's capital Jakarta, to search. But clogged roads and downed communication lines have hampered the effort, they added. No heavy earth-moving equipment was available in the area, so villagers were digging through tons of dislodged mud with farm tools and their bare hands to search for survivors, police Chief Lt. Col. Imron Yunus said.
The Red Cross said about 500 villagers who lost their homes have been evacuated to temporary shelters in neighboring villages. The Red Cross will send a helicopter and excavating equipment to the area on Wednesday, Indonesian Red Cross Secretary General Budi Atmaji Adiputro said.
