Far too often we Christian feel totally overwhelmed by world events that "seemingly" render us weak and powerless. However, the very events transpiring around us are indicative that God certainly is in control.
There are various ways Christians react to these prophetic events. One way to react to these current events is to barricade oneself off from the world as though nothing is happening. That kind of reaction may allow us a temporary relief but does nothing to change the situation.
However,
there is a better alternative which is something you have already
discovered or you most likely would not be reading this article. Make a commitment to change our world through prayer. When you do that, you assume an entirely new perception of yourself. You
now see yourself as an agent of change and a major player on the
world's stage. No longer do you passively sit on the sidelines of life
so to speak and worry, hide and turn a deaf ear to current events.
Rather, now you are calling upon God's power and bringing the Spirit of
the Lord into these situations causing change. Your thinking is no longer fatalistic nor does your resistance seem futile. God has called your to a warrior . . . not a worrier. You can change world history. That is what prayer is all about.
Adopt a
nation or two in your prayer life and watch God begin to do things that
the news media will never report or may never even hear about! Often,
missionaries who come by our churches leave a small Bible marker with
their names, photos and facts about their nations. Keep those markers
with you and assume the responsibility as a change agent for that
particular nation. Remember, you are powerful through Christ!!!!

· The financial needs of each facet of the church to be met
· There to be unity in the congregation
· Daughter works to be established
PRAYER FOR LEADERSHIP
The
most under-utilized source of spiritual power in our churches today is
the intercession for Christian leaders. No question exists in the minds
of those who have experienced it; committed, faithful intercession
brings increased spiritual power to Christian ministries.
Our leaders need prayer!
Pray for . . .
· Leaders to be sensitive to God's voice and increase in their knowledge of Him
· Leaders to have wisdom, understanding, and boldness to act
· Leaders to find favor with God and man
· Leaders to have clarity of vision and pure motives
· Leaders to be submissive in spirit to God
· Leaders to pursue righteousness and abound in the fruit of the Spirit
· God to send warring angels to guard, guide, and protect leaders
