Pastor Don Rogers, who spoke so powerfully to us on Saturday morning, June 12 at Summons to Sacrifice in St. Louis, sent a report to us from Milwaukee. Following 40 Days of Fire, which their local church participated in by fasting and praying, they conducted a crusade at Clark Square Park in Milwaukee. There was a powerful outpouring of God's Holy Spirit upon the HURTING and the LOST. Pastor Rogers writes, "This is a very dangerous part of the city where gang and drug violence prevails." However a multicultural group from their church marched right into the enemy's camp to witness a sovereign move of the Holy Ghost. Fifteen people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit was so strong at times that people coming off the street to the tent were slain by the power of God! Four people received miraculous healings and eleven were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ out in the park!!

At last report, it was discovered that over 1,500 people attended the meeting in the park. Over 1,200 from the neighborhood received a free meal by the team from the local Pentecostal Church. No less than four television stations were on hand to report this sovereign act of God.

"Community Day" is when the church reaches out to their community to feed both body and soul. During this particular Community Day, there was no fighting or shootings. In fact a patrolling law enforcement officer told them that just the night before; there had been two shootings on the very block where the meeting was held. Nearly 50 people have been filled with the Spirit as a result of participation in this event and the community knows that Jesus Christ is alive and doing great things among His people.
Thank you Pastor Don Rogers for this excellent report! We at World Network of Prayer and all the subscribers join you in prayer for the city of Milwaukee as you shake the powers of darkness. Remember, Jesus said that the powers of the heavens would be shaken. The dark prince over Milwaukee is being shaken and souls are being loosed from demonic influence. Thank you for your powerful exhortation at Summons 2010 in St. Louis!

WORLD NEEDS

Louisiana - While cleanup crews and technical teams continue efforts to stop crude gushing into the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana lawmakers are proposing a different approach: prayer.
?xml:namespace>
State senators designated Sunday as a day for citizens to ask for God's help dealing with the oil disaster. "Thus far efforts made by mortals to try to solve the crisis have been to no avail," state Sen. Robert Adley said in a statement released after last week's unanimous vote for the day of prayer. "It is clearly time for a miracle for us."
The resolution names Sunday as a statewide day of prayer in Louisiana and calls on people of all religions throughout the Gulf Coast "to pray for an end to this environmental emergency, sparing us all from the destruction of both culture and livelihood."
As much as 60,000 barrels (2.5 million gallons) of oil may be gushing into the Gulf every day, new government estimates found last week.

Brazil - Officials in Brazil say they fear the death toll may rise after four days of flooding left at least 33 people dead and thousands homeless. The flooding has mainly affected the northeastern states of Pernambuco and Alagoas.
More than 1,000 people are missing in Alagoas with about 500 people unaccounted for in the town of Uniao dos Palmares alone, a state spokesman said. According to Brazil's civil defense agency, more than 40,000 are homeless.

Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is meeting in Brasilia with governors of both states and has promised to facilitate emergency funds to help flood victims.
Pernambuco Governor Eduardo Campos -- who flew over the affected areas -- described the situation as "heart-breaking." "What we have seen since Friday is more than a horror film," Campos said in an official statement.

HOW TO DEVELOPE A PRAYER TEAM
?xml:namespace> |
|
In many churches throughout the world God is using prayer ministry teams to revive and renew His church. A prayer ministry team is a group of two to six people committed to praying with hurting people-both churched and unchurched. The members, men and women who have strong personal prayer lives and a love for people, work in groups of two or three. more
